Q.   What does a franchise include?

A.   It entitles you to own and operate a Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Gill location, use of the trade name, trademarks, recipes and business method.


Q.   Do I need restaurant experience to be successful with a Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Grill franchise?

A.   Restaurant experience is always helpful, but it is not a requirement. You do need a lot of enthusiasm and a willingness to work at making your business successful. Our comprehensive training program will help you develop the skills you need to operate a successful Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Grill.


Q.   How much of a profit can I expect to make?

A.   Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Grill does not predict sales or profits for any location. Profitability will depend considerably upon the franchisee's ability to manage the day-to-day operations and finances, as well as factors specific to each location, including occupancy cost, labor costs and the potential for sales.


Q.   Can I open more than one restaurant?

A.   Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Grill is looking for qualified individuals or groups to help expand this chain nationwide. Franchise opportunities exist for both single restaurants and multi-unit development.


Q.   How much are the fees for a Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Grill franchise?

A.   The franchise fee is $30,000 and the monthly royalty fee is 6% of gross sales. The advertising fee is up to 4% of gross sales.
